Located in Michigan, Streamline Machine Source is a company you can trust to provide excellent results with outstanding service.

Owner Mike Bracey developed a passion for machining while attending the shared time program provided by his high school. As a senior, he worked as a high school co-op student at a local machine shop. When he graduated, he was offered full-time employment and there he learned the “old school” way to set up and machine parts from experienced expert Tool Makers. Mike moved on to work at a couple of stamping die shops and later an injection mold/contract machining shop where he managed dozens of employees and gained years of experience and knowledge. Mike now has nearly 40 years of experience, and during that time he has learned the nuances between the different sectors of the industry. For example, how die-making techniques vary from mold-making techniques, or how plastic responds to tooling versus steel or aluminum. The same time-tested techniques he’s learned over the years are being applied at SMS, but are now commingled with modern technology.

Mike founded SMS as a faith-based company and that is its foundation. Mike will tell you God opened a door for him after he lost his job due to downsizing in November 2009. The economy was in terrible shape, but everything fell into place, and by February 2010 SMS was officially in business. He continues to use Christian principles and values to build the company brand on consistency, quality, and better service.
